How and if has the national prostitution law had influenced the development of trafficking in human beings to and in Sweden. The Swedish prostitution law has been perceived as an obstacle, slowing down the escalating evolution of trafficking in human beings for sexual purposes occurring in many other countries and contributing to Sweden being considered a too small, difficult and non-profitable market for human trafficking.
